9(a) Option 2: Message Writing

Message

Date: 29th September 2024
Time: 4:30 PM

Dear Kirti,

Neha called
while you were out. She wanted to inform you that you are invited to her
birthday party on 15th April at 6 PM at her house.

Best,
Seema

9(b) Option 1: Paragraph on “Good Manners”

Good Manners

Good manners
are the foundation of a civilized life and smooth human interactions. Saying
“please” and “thank you” helps resolve disputes peacefully
and earns us respect. It is essential to show respect to elders and be polite
to those younger than us. Talking less and listening more are signs of wisdom,
while patience and discipline should be observed in everyday situations like
waiting in a queue. Good manners not only reflect our upbringing but also make
society more pleasant. Bad manners, on the other hand, lead to bitterness and
conflict, disrupting harmony.

9(b) Option 2: Paragraph on “Discipline”

Discipline

Discipline is
the backbone of character and success. The word “discipline” comes
from the word “disciple,” which means to follow. It plays an
important role everywhere—in schools, offices, playgrounds, and especially in
the army, where soldiers must follow strict commands. Even natural objects like
the planets follow discipline in their orbits. Without discipline, chaos would
prevail. In schools, discipline ensures proper learning, and in personal life,
it helps achieve goals. Therefore, discipline is essential for maintaining
order, achieving success, and living a fulfilling life.

of the spread of diseases like dengue and malaria.
